Once a patch becomes available for a game, our system will deploy it within a maximum of 72 hours. That's a contractual guarantee! Quite often patches are deployed within the same day of release. Once our technicians have tested and examined the patch to ensure that it won't cause any conflicts or security problems, we immediately deploy it to all our clients.
Your store is in constant contact with our servers, so as soon as we deploy a patch, the software running in your store will download it and make it available to your PCs. Instead of downloading a patch onto each of your systems individually, we conserve your internet bandwidth by only downloading it once. Once acquired on the local server, each of the client PCs will transparently receive a copy of the patch and deploy it, even if a customer is playing on the machine, all without disturbing their gaming experience.
Deploying new games can be just as easy as patching existing ones! Our software downloads all necessary files and stores them locally on your server. This includes the game data, CD image, and any necessary LM or PUF files. All the files are then sent to the clients and configured, again just as transparently as patches. Our software can even automatically add the new game to Smartlaunch, Cyber Cafe Pro, and most other major GC Software. All you have to do is announce the new game to customer!
Licence Management gives GC's the ability to have a lesser number of CD keys or accounts than there are actual physical PCs in your store. This common practice enables GC's to save hundred or thousands of dollars every year in game purchases. It can also be the bane of a Game Center Owner's existence. As gaming becomes more and more advanced, so do the copy-prevention measures, which can complicate GC's attempt to commute CD keys and accounts between computers.
